As you may or may not know, there are several ways to architect your EPM Live environment. One way is to publish all of your projects to 1 site. In this case, reporting is fairly straight forward because all of the content exists on one site. The other way to architect your EPM Live environment is to create individual EPM Live Workspaces for each project. In this case, reporting accross all of your Workspaces can be more difficult. Introducing the EPM Live Rollup Web Parts…
The rollup web parts are intended to be used within a site that contains sub sites. There are several ways to deploy the web parts, we are going to walk through a fairly common way of doing this but be creative…since they are web parts, you can add them to nearly any page within your site.
The following steps walk through how to create the “All Work” rollup, repeat the same steps if you want to add the other rollups to your site as well.
1. Browse to your top level site (where you want to place your rollup web parts)
2. Choose “Create” from the Site Actions menu in the upper right corner
3. Choose “Custom List” from within the “Custom Lists” section
4. Enter the following information:
- Enter “All Work Rollup” for the List Name
- Leave the Description field blank
- Leave “Yes” selected for this list to show up on your Quick Launch Bar

5. Click the “Create” button to create your list
6. From the “Site Actions” menu in the upper right corner of your site, choose “Edit Page”
7. Delete the “All Work Rollup” Web Part by clicking the X on the right side of the list

8. Click the “Add a Web Part” orange bar to launch the “Add Web Part” screen.
9. Select the “EPM Live – My Work Rollup” Web Part and then click the “Add” button.

10. Finally, click the “Exit Edit Mode” link in the upper right corner of your screen to exit out of the exit mode.
Your All Work Web Part is now added to your site and should show up in the Quick Launch bar on the left for quick access. If you want to add rollups for Issues, Risks, Tasks and Projects, follow the same steps above but choose the appropriate Web Part when adding your rollup Web Part in step 9.
